Following this forum discussion about volunteers being overwritten: https://v-base.org/node/236, we have had an instance whereby we have imported a volunteer from the Old V-Base and have also recently had an Do-it application from the same woman (so same name and email address). Now we have two individuals with the same CiviCRM ID, and everything I do to one changes the other. I want to delete one of these, so to not cause confusion when we report on statistics. However, I fear that in turn, by deleting one, I shall delete both. Am I correct? And if so, is there a work around or a way you can resolve such issues?

I have 28 volunteers on my vbase cloud for one organisation. all tehse volunteers are out my area and they are from before christmas. How do i delete these volunteers permenantly. If i import and then delete they are still there.

Volunteer record can be deleted from the View Volunteer screen using 'Delete Contact' buttton.
All that seems to do is put them back into import volunteer section.

When you delete a volunteer record in V-Base Cloud, it will be deleted from your V-Base cloud account. All the records listed in 'My Do-it Applications' page are the applications that have been made on Do-it. Volunteer records will not be created in your V-Base Cloud account, unless you import them from My Do-it Applications page.

So how can these applications be removed from "My Do-it Applications"?

Applications can't be removed from 'My Do-it Appliations' page as they are fetched directly from Do-it applications made under the organisations you manage.
I manage the organisation but all the volunteers are out of our area and are a few mths old. They just appeared in 'My Do-it Applciations' over night a few weeks back. I just want them removed.
I fixed this problem myself, to get rid of the 28 volunteers who were not mine, i went into do-it and deleted the organisation (leave). I had no opportunities i was advertising for them anyway.

The girl's name who is duplicated is Natasha Kanolik and her email is natasha_kanolik@hotmail.co.uk - her Civi ID is 2085 in both instances.

That's bizarre. In my searches, she still comes up twice (see attached). Can you try again using her name?

There is only a single contact record for the Volunteer. The record shows up twice in the volunteer search results because she has two different addresses in her record. You could remove one of the addresses if that is a wrong entry.
