I dont no if im doing this the right way but i have an opportunity that has expired i make it into a draft as i want to keep it incase that opportunity becomes live again.
Everytime i make it a draft the next day it becomes expired again. I have even tryed making it a draft on Do-it to see if that makes a difference but no it still keeps coming back expired can anyine help.

You could try changing the expiry date to later.
Hi Janette i did try that and it didnt work it still keeps going back to expired the next day :)
This reiterates the need I have stated before for a 'Deactiavted' opportunity status.
I put zz in front of my ones that are meant to be draft, then they drop to the end of the list when scrolling through for expired opps
That sounds like a great Idea Lorna i think i will have to do that.

Yep we have been putting ZZ or ** in front too, however this doesn't prevent them from expiring, as you still have to set an advertise end date, and it also requires you to manually go through each opportunity and edit the details. A 'Deactivate' button would ideally do all of these actions in one go.
I agree that there should be a way of simply making an opportunity inactive but available for the future.
Every time I make an opportunity draft, I change the expiry and advertising dates to well into the future (at the moment I'm changing them to 31st Dec 2019), this seems to work for me. Although obviously at some point I will have to go through and change all these dates again.
Ive tryed doing that aswell Jen but it still does the same thing and makes it expired again the nest day.
