Registered users can set up email notifications by navigating to "My Account-> Notification settings" and receive regular notifications on new content and comment activities on selected Content Types.
Steps to set up email notifications:
- Login into the Forum
- Navigate to My Account -> Notification settings
- Enable Master switch
- In the Detailed Settings
- Enabling 'Notify new content' will include new posts in the notification email.
- Enabling 'Notify new comments' will include new comments in the notification email.
- Users can select the amount of each item they want to receive using different options provided in the 'How much to include?'
- Notifications can be filtered by Content Types using Subscriptions section.
I can't find how to navigate to Notification settings.I have gone to my account on both the forum and the regular account and can't find any reference to anything other than name address email etc. Can somebody give me more specific instructions please
I have also just tried to do this and can't find any options
There was a configuration issue and it is fixed now. Please login to Forum and you will be able to see the Notification settings in 'My Account'.
