On the old v.base I recorded various activities, i.e. communication, registration, op updated , etc etc. against individual opportunities. Am I correct in thinking that it now seems that it is only possible to record activities against the organisation or the volunteer? If so this is not always helpful, especially where organisations have several different ops attached to them. Can someone advise please.

Something we're working on at the moment is to be able to link an activity to an Opp. For instance you would still need to create the Activity against an org but you'd then be able to also pick the Opp it applies to if any. This should mean these Activities can then also be shown against the Opps.
Is that what your looking for?
What we would like to see is the full range of activity and communication records recorded against the opp as well as the org effectively introducing the contact record field to the opportunity section. Would be very helpful.
