I apologise that this is kind of repeating another thread but I am not getting any response on there! We still have lots of duplicated opps that were created when there was a bug in the system and I can't see a way of deleting them. Previously when there was an opp on VBase that wasn't on do-it, a pop-up box would appear asking if you wanted to delete the opp, but this doesn't seem to be happening with these duplicated opps and I can't see any other way of getting rid of them. They are really messing up my monitoring so please could Veda tell me how I can remove them from the system. I don't want to simply deactivate them as they should not be there at all. Thank you.
Yes - this does seem to have got somewhat forgotten. It's quite a big problem for some.

The short answer is we cant fix this until we move to the V2 APIs for do-it. We're currently quoting this up to go back to do-it with so that we can get the work approved, watch this space.
The long answer is that the currently V1 APIs (Interface into do-it) doesn't differentiate between the main opp and the multi location versions, so we cant allow a delete because, according to VBC, the opp is current and exists on do-it.

Thanks for your response. The opps I'm talking about are not ones with multiple locations, I understand the issue with these. The ones I want to delete are ones that were created when there was a bug in the system, and every time we added a new opp on do-it for some reason it was duplicated on VBase. There should only be one opp on the system with a single location. If you would like an example, please see our opp 'Leader' for the org '39 Club'.

We checked the example opportunity record and found that there are two record,s with different URLs, exist in Do-it.( Created due to the bug in the Do-it API - Form thread )
According to VBC, the opp records are current and exist on do-it hence cannot be removed from VBC. We've informed Do-it API team to check if these duplicates can be removed from the API so that they'll be removed from VBC during the sync process.

Accoring to our recent discussion with Do-it API team, these duplicates were created in VBC due to the data structure changes in V2 API. These duplicates can be removed from VBC, once we move to the v2 of the API.
