Hello, we have an organisation on our VBase Cloud list which isn't on our Do-it list. I wonder if it's either come from the migration from V-Base 3.0 or that we have somehow been given admin rights to it when we shouldn't. Is there anyway we can remove this organisation from our list in VBase Cloud?
Hi James,
Local organisation records will not be synced with your Do-it list. Would you mind providing the details of that organisation record?
Thanks
Hi Gopi,
The organisation is "Stroke Association" (External ID: 0430f0e2-1f9f-4b28-866b-a952474a3b54 CiviCRM ID: 77). It's not one we've added to Do-it, or locally to VBase Cloud, and I don't have any options to remove it either.
When the Stroke Association ask us to advertise opportunities we use "Stroke Association (Bromsgrove & Redditch)" so if you could leave that one on for us that would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
James.
I have a list of organisations that are not local organisations and was removed from Do-it oner 12 months ago but still need deleting from VBase Cloud. Any ideas how i can do this?
I am trying to clean our systems up and i have a list of organisations that are not local and have been removed from the Do-it website that i wish to be deleted from VBase, how would i go about doing this?
It should happen automatically but you do need to ask do-it to permanently delete the organisations from their side.
Hi all,
Just to confirm what Lorna's saying, your permissions for organisations only allow you to leave organisations. We on our side can permanently delete organisations, and will do so if asked, providing there are no live opportunities for the organisation, and no other active administrators attached to it.
Alternatively, every 1-2 weeks we run some maintenance on our database now which will automatically delete organisations which have no live opportunities and no administrators against it. So to make things easier for you, if you wish some organisations to be deleted, you can just make sure that there are no live opportunities and then remove yourselves as administrator from that organisation. Provided there are no other admins attached, that organisation will then be automatically deleted by ourselves when we run that maintenance.
