So we're having a problem with the activity log for volunteers, in particular, being unable to edit or remove opportunity referrals such that it alters the subject title for this activity. In other words, we have had one or two instances where we have accidentally created an "Opportunity referral" activity for a volunteer to the wrong role (i.e. one with the same name for a different organisation etc.). We have then gone to edit this activity and changed the opportunity referral to the correct opportunity. However, whilst this corrects the opportunity, this change does not affect the subject title and nor can you edit the subject title manually. There is not even a way to delete this opportunity referral.
This will prove difficult when it comes to reporting, if the correct opportunity is not listed in the subject heading - considering as at the moment, there is only the ability to see the subject title in the activity reports rather than see the exact opportunity or organisation that the individual has been referred or placed with (which is a separate issue in itself)
I have attached screenshots which I hope will help demonstrate what I mean.
This was mentioned at the training last week. We were asked to raise it on the forum. This is essential to ensure quality data.
I would agree that edits like this should be allowed.
