I know that VEDA has improved the visibility of some data in VBC. What I am interested in is to what degree can we now see the full picture of volunteers' progress through our system.
For example, how easy is it to see the following....
- Listing of all opportunities applied for by a volunteer
- Listing of all volunteers referred to an organisation
- Listing of all volunteers placed at an organisation
- Listing of all volunteers applying for an opportunity
- etc
I am asking this in terms of ad hoc enquiries and reports.

Hello VEDA
Just reviewing some issues prior to a planning meeting. Did you have the opportunity to look at this question. It seems that this sort of visibility is an open issue.
As well as the criteria above, I would also like to know how to add Opportunity and/or Organisation to the Activities report.
Thanks
Richard
Hi Richard,
These reports can be achieved using Advanced Search. We are working on creating user guide for the listed tasks above.
Thanks
That's a useful response - thank you. Please post back when you have the user guide published.
I am happy that you say the reports are achievable. However, the definition and production does seem to be rather complex (and I am an IT professional!!)
Is there any thought being put into producing a general "advanced reporting" user guide. Things like names of fields and where they are found would be useful I think.
Or maybe even a training class. We would support travelling to such an event (preferably not too far) and be prepared to pay a modest amount.
Can you have a look at my post entitled Opportunity Reports for Interests and Activities and see if you can help me please. Lorna
Hi Richard,
We've added a user guide on one of the tasks,
User guide link : https://v-base.org/users-guide/system-administration/advanced-search/lis...
Different reports can be generated by Display the results as 'Opportunity Applicants' and using the following combination of filters.
Thanks
