Can anyone help please, I am struggling to figure out if I am looking at reporting correctly as we are not using VBC actively yet and I don't have any data that I can use to see any useful results.
1) I need to be able to report number of volunteers that have enquired about volunteering (i.e. we have met, have dropped in, spoken to on the phone etc and will include 'register my interest' Do-it's) but cannot figure out how to do this. When I have looked on the Forum at the comments made by Richard and also the lady looking at Smart Groups, I thought I could easily create one. However, I am finding that
a) The Volunteer Report doesn't allow us to report on Activity Log
b) The Activity Reports groups by Activity Log Type and therefore counts the Activity only once when there are 3 volunteers who have had that activity logged against their profile and I want it to count the other way, for my report it should show count of 3 volunteers who have made enquiries.
c) I will also need to count Volunteers Referred and Placed.
Can anyone explain how to do this easily please - I have also looked at the Advanced Search which is really NOT intuitive and couldn't see how to create the report I want here either.
2a) Does anyone know if I create an Organisation or Opportunity in January 2016, and then update them in March 2016, will the date created still show as Jan 2016.
b) Can we look at/report the update date so we can see when Org/Opp was created and then how often and when it has been updated? What we don't want is for the update date to show as a create date and skew our reporting of monthly new Orgs/Opps.
