Hi,
I'm just looking into sending follow up emails directly through Vbase and I see that the template automatically attaches the opportuntiy informaiton. Is it possible to remove this attachement, so the email is only the text as is shown in text box?
Hi Jen,
Opportunity information will always be added in the follow up email. If you want to send only the text, you can send direct emails from the volunteers summary screen.
Thanks
I'm not sure that this makes sense. I would think that for a follow up you have already referred the volunteer, with the opportunity information. It doesn't need to be sent again.
Maybe a flag to include the opportunity info or not would be a good solution.
Yes agreed, I'm not sure why the opportunity information would be automatically attached. We only really need the opportunity name, and perhaps organosation name, in the email.
I agree that there isn't a need to the attachment.
I'm just looking at this again and still feel reluctant to use the 'follow up' action because of the automatic attachment of all the opp information. If the attachment is necessary, is it possible to limit the amount of information that is provided? Ideally, I'd like all of the information below the Practical Considerations to be removed. I think it is unnecessary to have all this info on here, and think it might be confusing for the volunteers.
Hi everyone,
The amount of information in send info email attachment can be controlled now using Administration >> Opportunity >> Send Info Opportunity Content settings. NOTE: 'About the Opportunity' section is included in the emails by default. You could add or remove other sections from the attachment.
