Does anyone know where I can find the template email that links with the Step 3 - Send info part of the do-it application process? have tested that the system works with the second stage to orgs but can't find under the admin menu where the email subject is Volunteer Details (standard before changing).
Any help would be aprreciated as we now feel confident using this aspect but don't want to have to keep copying and pasting the same info into a generic email template.

'Send info' action is in enhancement now. We will update the forum when it has been done with more features.
Can I not use this at the moment?? Have you removed send an email from the volunteer actions list?? its disappeared this afternoon?

Our development process doesn't affect the live system. You can use 'Send Info' from the Volunteer actions list with current features. At the moment you can't use any templates for second stage, 'Send volunteer details to Organisation'. This is one of the features we are working on right now.

Quick question though, on stage one, does the volunteer receive the contact details of the organisation or is it just the opportunity and org names?

Opportunity sections to be included in the Send Info & Follow Up emails can be controlled now using Administration >> Opportunity >> Send Info Opportunity Content setting.
Email content can also be edited during the step by step process. Please refer the user guide links below for more details.

It's pleasing that VEDA have concentrated on this send info sequence as it is fundamental to the business process of volunteer referrals.
Thankyou Gopi for improving the process following the input (from quite a few users I think.)
I am still a bit concerned about how all these activities are reported in the Volunteer's activity stream. REF - my post https://v-base.org/node/335
To get the stats necessary, there needs to be a way of singling out unique tasks (eg referrals) and currently there seems to be multiple tasks called the same thing.
Currently I am involved with another project and just can't get the time to test this out again, but I would like to see the sequence of task names that are generated by this process now.
I will take another look at this a soon as I can.

I have just tried this - I edited the sections (unchecked By and Apply to fields) to be removed in Administration, but they still appear in the email template that is created, and even though I deleted them in the email before it was sent, all of these fields still appear in the email received by the volunteer! Has anyone tried this feature and does it work?
There is a lot of other information in this email that makes it look untidy and harder to read, if there is no data can the field be omitted, ie like Fax? Do we need to keep the time stamp on the date posted/start & end date?

I have unticked Apply Organisation and saved but when I send an "send info" it is still there?

We've fixed the issue with Email content settings and removed the time stamp on the posted/start & end date. Please have a look now.
You could edit the content of the email and remove the fields like Fax if there is no data.
